Here are a few things on offer:

ADVENTURE HUNTING

Come hunting wild game Kiwi Style. No deer fences, no captivity bred, just the real deal. Hunt red deer, wild boar, pacific goat, sika deer, sambar deer, Chamios, thar wallaby, possum, hares, rabbits...truth be known, if you want to hunt it we can probably find if for you. This is highly recommended as a true hunting experience and is more cost effective. We can also arrange pig hunting with dogs for those who want a more hands on approach.

TROPHY HUNTING

Truly wild born and raised game animals for some species can not be guaranteed, thats just hunting. However, Free range/fair chase trophy hunting is available for Thar, Chamios, Awapara Ram and Sambar Stag. Free range Sika trophies are available but check with us first for availability. We offer preserve trophy hunting for Red Stag, Fallow Stag, Sika Stag and Wapiti Bull (Elk). These animals are guaranteed.

DEEP SEA FISHING

We are good mates with Haddy the sea captain. He has a 9 metre sea boat and knows the spots. We can hook you up with Haddy to get into some Hapuka (grouper), cod, schnapper scallops (in season) and crayfish. He will also take you cruising through the world renouned Abel Tasman National Park which usually includes seals, dolphins, sea birds, penguins....you get the idea.

ACCOMMODATION

Its hard to get better views than from the cottages at Kairuru Farmstay on the Takaka Hill overlooking the Tasman Bay. Fully self contained with the option of farm cooked meals and catering by hosts David and Wendy. It would be Wendy that does the cooking but David might surprise us yet.
